4 - Label your pieces
For clarity, we made the wrong side of our fabric darker.
5 - Sew the shoulder seams
Use 1/2 inch seam allowance

6 - Hem the neckline
There is 3/4 inch hem allowance
We chose a single-fold hem and finished it with a straight stitch
7 - Attach the sleeves
Use 1/2 inch seam allowance

8 - Sew the side seams
Use 1/2 inch seam allowance
We chose a plain seam with a straight stitch and finished it with an overcast stitch
9 - Hem the sleeves
There is 3/4 inch hem allowance
We chose a single-fold hem and finished it with a straight stitch
10 - Hem the ruffles
There is 1/2 inch hem allowance
We chose a double-fold hem and finished it with a straight stitch
11 - Attach the ruffles
Use 1/2 inch seam allowance
We chose a plain seam with a straight stitch and finished it with an overcast stitch
12 - Sew the inseam seams
Use 1/2 inch seam allowance
We chose a plain seam with a straight stitch and finished it with an overcast stitch
13 - Sew the outseam seams
Use 1/2 inch seam allowance

14 - Sew the crotch seams

15 - Create the elastic waist
Use 1/2 inch seam allowance
We chose a 1/2 inch lapped seam and inserted the elastic inside
16 - Hem the bottom
There is 3/4 inch hem allowance
We chose a single-fold hem and finished it with a straight stitch
17 - Do a little dance!
Be a pro! Trim any excess thread and allowances, then, give it a good iron.
