1 - Pick up your materials and tools
Fabric; we recommend using linen, challis, denim & chambray, crepe, knits, or similar fabrics. We chose linen. See the image below for quantities.

2 - Print and cut
There are 3 printing options:

3 - Cut out your fabric pieces Learn how >
Seam and hem allowances are already included. Use 3/8 inch seam allowance.
4 - Label your pieces
For clarity, we made the wrong side of our fabric darker.
5 - Create the back bindings
Use 3/8 inch seam allowance
6 - Attach the back bindings
We chose a straight stitch
7 - Sew the back seam
Use 3/8 inch seam allowance
We chose a plain seam with a straight stitch and finished it with an overcast stitch
8 - Sew the shoulder seams
Use 3/8 inch seam allowance
We chose a plain seam with a straight stitch and finished it with an overcast stitch
9 - Attach the gathered skirt
Use 3/8 inch seam allowance
We chose a plain seam with a straight stitch and finished it with an overcast stitch
10 - Attach the gathered skirt
Use 3/8 inch seam allowance

11 - Sew the side seams
Use 3/8 inch seam allowance

12 - Hem the sleeves

We chose a double-fold hem and finished it with a straight stitch
13 - Hem the bottom
Use 2 inch hem allowance
We chose a double-fold hem and finished it with a straight stitch
14 - Create the neckline binding
Use 3/8 inch seam allowance
15 - Attach the neckline binding
We chose a straight stitch
16 - Do a little dance!
Be a pro! Trim any excess thread and allowances, then, give it a good iron.
