4 - Label your pieces
For clarity, we made the wrong side of our fabric darker.
5 - Sew the shoulder seams
Use 3/8 seam allowance
We chose plain seams with a straight stitch and finished them with an overcast stitch What should I choose?
6 - Hem the neckline
Use 3/4 inch hem allowance
We chose a single-fold hem and finished it with a straight stitch and overcast stitch
7 - Attach the sleeves
Use 3/8 inch seam allowance
We chose plain seams with a straight stitch and finished it with an overcast stitch
8 - Sew the side seams
Use 3/8 inch seam allowance
We chose plain seams with a straight stitch and finished it with an overcast stitch
9 - Hem the sleeves
Use 3/4 inch hem allowance
We chose a single-fold hem and finished it with a straight stitch and overcast stitch
10 - Secure the front pieces
We chose a basting stitch
11 - Sew the inseam
Use 3/8 inch seam allowance

13 - Hem the leg openings

14 - Sew the crotch seams

15 - Create an elastic casing
