Our Story

In 2016, co-founders Natalia, William and Lourie, formed Thimball. Natalia, a seasoned fashion designer for brands such as Ralph Lauren, Perry Ellis and Nine West. William, a determined manager with startup experience spanning multiple industries. Lourie, a summa cum laude fashion designer with over 10 years of experience. Utilizing their complimentary skillsets, it was clear that the trio were destined to shake up the fashion industry.

Thimball was originally set up as a fashion design agency with the goal of aiding start-up fashion brands make amazing designs. Making use of the latest in 3D design technology, Thimball grew quickly and received multiple awards for top rated agency. They expanded their team and, to date, they have helped over over 800 fashion brands. Trusted by some well-known American brands such as Callaway Golf and Original Penguin.

In mid 2019, the co-founders noticed that the home sewer market appeared stagnate. With that insight, the trio decided to use their skills to start producing some fresh designs for home sewers. The mission was simple…

Thimball’s simplistic approach to home sewing was met with rave reviews. Home sewers were excited by the fresh styles, reliable fits and easy to follow guides. With this early success, the future of Thimball became clear. Thimball would provide the largest range of amazing sewing patterns to the world!
